Our sellers, George and Nikki Taylor operate from Mosshall Farm, located in West Lothian, Scotland. The farm has been in the family for over 90 years and until 2008 was operated as a Dairy enterprise. The switch to producing commercial cattle and breeding Pedigree Red Angus was driven by the family's desire to work with cattle that didn't require the same intensity as is required for Dairy. Their commercial herd is crossed back each year to an Angus bull.

Five N - Mosshall

The Pedigree Red Angus foundation lines were purchased from Kincardine Castle & Imports from Danish herds. Members of the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society although not currently a big showing herd, their Pedigree lines have attracted much interest with Mosshall bred bulls being sold to many pedigree and commercial herds across the UK and Ireland and to AI companies - Genus and Cogent.

Henry is a flashy, correct, moderate framed bull with great locomotion and an excellent temperament. He has bags of Angus character, with a leg in each corner to support his even frame. Henry is a well fleshed, shapely bull with zero myostatin. Sired by Mosshall Red Elite who produced the highest priced Red AA bull sold to date at public auction in the UK. Elite is our homebred stock bull who has covered a huge amount of our cows and is a bull we have used year on year, always turning out brilliant calves. His twin brother sold to Cogent. Henry's dam is Mosshall Red Hypatia P477 a homebred cow sired by Oakchurch Red Diplomat, she has produced 5 calves for us to date each calving within the year. Through Henry's bloodline, his progeny should calve easy, be easy fleshing and fertile with plenty of Angus character.

Introducing: Lot #8 Mosshall Red Eddie W138

Eddie is a long, clean bull with good locomotion and sound temperament. His sire ML Red Loaded is also a long bull with a brilliant top line, with over 100 registered animals and proven EBVs. Red Eddie has the potential to put an extra rib into his progeny just as his sire has. Eddie is correct in every way, has 4 strong legs and one in each corner ready to support himself when he is working. Eddie's Dam is a homebred cow Mosshall Red Elna N348 she has produced six calves for us to date all calving within the year. Eddie is supported with positive calving figures from a strong maternal line. Elna, his dam, always weans one of the heaviest calves at weaning and Eddie's maternal sister will be shown this summer.
