Michael & Teresa Fogerty, farm on the banks of Loughbunny lake, Rockvale, Tubber, Co. Clare. The gound is of limestone nature, their venture into Pedigree Charaois began with the purchase of the sale bulls grandmother Claregal Dulcinee herself a CF52 daughter.
Niall Stoddart owns the Longford Parthenaise Herd established in 2006, Niall's farm comprises of a Spring calving Purebred and Continental suckler herd, Purebred Blue Texel sheep and tillage.
Is owned by John & Bridget Olds who established their Bosahan Herd of British Simmentals in 2006. They are members of the Premium Cattle Health Scheme and their aim is to continually improve the E.B.V.s of their herd.
Sale is now live and open for bidding from 2 of NI Ireland's most renowned herds in the Dexter breed, we have for sale one young in-calf cow and two breeding bulls.
Our Sellers, Rob & Penny Paisley's farm on the Yorkshire Dales is situated within walking distance from the picturesque town of Ilkley. Since the mid-90s Rob and Penny have developed a reputation for producing some of the most naturally grown cattle in the breed, The farm produces their own farm to plate shorthorn meat boxes for local supply. Their maternal cow families are selected for breeding easy, softness and easy fleshing.
Our seller, Sean Kerr first purchased his foundation females in 2014 to establish the Lisnamanny Pedigree herd, based in County Antrim. The herd has enjoyed show successes pre covid and Sean is looking forward to further days out in 2022.
The Dexter breed originated in Ireland. They are the smallest native breed of cattle in the British Isles, they are hardy, dual-purpose cattle, producing excellent beef and milk, an ideal suckler cow for conservation grazing.
