Breeding males sold to an average of €3,681.25 with the top price of €6,850.00 received for Rathlyon Paulo ET selling to Bova-AI. It took 20 bids to secure Paulo before the final click secured this classy 4th of Jan. 2021 born young bull. His sire Rutabaga Beauffaux together with his Dam Pinnacle Hilda herself sired by Jackpot 9831 ET suggests Paulo will be easy calving and suitable for dairy or beef cows. Paulo displays great muscling throughout with an exceptional inner thigh and is sure to be an excellent purchase for BOVA-AI.
Breeding Females sold to an average of €3,783.00 with the top price of €5,800.00 received for the Pedigree Limousin 2nd calving cow Rathlyon Mama Mia selling to Welsh breeder Jones Sioned of Llanfair Hall Farm, Wales. Jones also purchased Rathlyon Sampson (Lot 11) & Rathlyon Princess (Lot 18).
Belgian Blue breeding heifers Rathlyon Olive ET attracted 11 bids before being secured by Co. Kildare breeder Harold Talbot for €5,000.00. It took 9 bids to secure the blue roan heifer Rathlyon Otto ET for €4,600.00 selling to Michael Slattery, Dunmore, Co. Galway.
