Is owned by John & Bridget Olds who established their Bosahan Herd of British Simmentals in 2006. They are members of the Premium Cattle Health Scheme and their aim is to continually improve the E.B.V.s of their herd.
The Bosahan herd began with the purchase of four Abbey Chase Simmental cows, followed by 3 more Atlow Petruska with a calf at foot (Atlow Petruka Star), Beanhill Penny and Grangewood Paris. These 7 females produced 17 heifer calves in three years!! females. Atlow Petruska was awarded Elite Cow status in 2009 and produced 10 calves with an average calving interval of 370 days.
Stock bulls along with some AI bulls have been used over the years, the first bull purchased was Winford Storm by Blackford Harvester and he was followed by Skerrington Armada purchased from Stirling bull sales in 2011, his progeny and descendants have made him a trait leader for 200-day weights. In 2015, The herd purchased the polled bull Heathbrow Freddie Star 14 who stood Reserve Male Champion at the British Simmental National Show.
In 2019, the herd purchased Kinclaven Infusion (P) Terminal index +96, (26% above the breed average) Replacement +115 (35% above the breed average) Pictures below.
John & Bridget are offering for sale two fabulous young heifers sired by Infusion. The decision to purchase Infusion at the 2019 February Stirling bull sales was influenced by a maternal bloodline achieving Royal Highland awards coupled with a sale-topping Omorga Samson as the grandsire. Also, Infusion's polled line outcross followed our previous stock bulls Skerrington Armada and Heathbrow Freddie Star 14 (P).

Back to the first-ever daughters to be offered for sale from Infusion!
Is a fantastic young heifer she will become the very first progeny of Kinclaven Infusion 17 (P) to be offered for sale. L'Amour's Dam is Bosahan Flirty Tresor she has produced six calves to date with an average 357-day calving index. Her first calf, Bosahan Hollie Flirty P, was the top maiden heifer at Worcester sale despite being the youngest in her class, two sons have subsequently been sold to commercial herds. We have retained a heifer and her Dam Flirty currently has a polled bull calf at foot and her maternal line has always produced impressive calves and goes back to one of our foundation cows Grangewood Paris. Couple this with Infusion proven bloodline.
L'Amour Flirty Tresor is a quality head-turning, stylish young heifer, with a pedigree line that supports every trait the Simmental breed is known for. Bid with confidence and secure L'amour Flirty Tresor.
Is the second daughter of Infusion this her Dam is Bosahan Harriet Bow who has produced five calves to date; (including twins males the first time which we decided to castrate and subsequently topped the suckler calf sales the following Autumn at Truro Livestock Market). She has averaged a 400-day calving index across four calvings with an impressive heifer calf at foot currently by Knockreagh Immanuel.
Combining bloodlines from two of our foundation cows, Atlow Petruska and Grangewood Paris, we used a homebred bull Bosahan Vulcan by Diranean Jacob and we believe regardless of sire this maternal line will produce great calves suiting both commercial and pedigree breeders. Atlow Petruska's daughter x Kinbride Farm Newry produced Bosahan Dynamo. Dynamo got 9,600gns at the last Bristol sale, which is a sale record. He has since been sold to UK sires and Bull Bank had semen from him, but there is none of it left now.
Harriet Bow is a stunning young heifer, cow foundation material backed up with proven pedigree lines, that continues to prove itself generation and generation and there is no reason to see why Harriet Bow's progeny doesn't produce your next champion.
