SHANKHILL RONALDO lot #1
Shankhill Ronaldo displays great attributes of the breed. He is a deep, long, stylish bull, with fantastic confirmation and balance, excellent legs & feet and displays a great length, depth and topline. He is easy fleshing and a real eye-catcher with his presence although he is extremely docile. He was 1st in the junior bull class, 1st in the pairs class and reserve male champion (as the 2nd youngest calf at the show) at the November NI Beef Shorthorn Calf Show.
His Dam KILBEAGH SILVER MAJORETT is a real blueprint of the Beef Shorthorn breed and is sired by the excellent Creaga Dice. She is a lovely roan, soft fleshed, a deep square cow with excellent confirmation and docility.
His Sire HUSSAR OF UPSALL is sired by the Australian bull Broughton Park Thunder and bred from a Cougar of Upsall sired dam. Hussar is a polled bull and excels in maternal traits. His Replacement Index of €171 places him in the top 1% of all breeds on the Irish Indexes. His Milk figure is +18.7 KG, and the all breed Milk index average is 2.29 KG. Hussar is 5 Star Within breed for Replacement Index, Carcass Weight and Daughter Milk, and 4 Star Within Breed for Terminal Index, Dairy/Beef Index.
This young bull has a tremendous pedigree and will make an excellent stock bull in any pedigree herd. Bloomfield Pride is a polled, quiet, blocky bull oozing style. He is halter trained and has been shown in the past so is the perfect bull for you to show this year!
His Dam TRUNLEY URYMAID JOY BELL 208 is a big strong red cow, who is very milky and goes back to the Ury Maid family from Upsall Shorthorns.

MEONSIDE POLLARD lot #3
Meonside Pollard is a big, long, upstanding bull with a phenomenal growth rate and is very well fleshed. He is in the top 1% of the breed for Terminal Sire index and Self-replacing Index.
His Sire MEONSIDE KING KONG, who is a maternal brother to the 27,000gns breed record holder Nidavellir. He also goes back to Elliot Salute, who has bred tremendously well for the Meonside herd, selling sons to 11,000gns and daughters to 6,000gns.
His Dam MEONSIDE MISS RAMSDEN J is off the Ballylinney lines that we purchased in 2015 from the Miss Ramsden family, who are a mainstay in the herd, with a half-sister to the dam of Pollard being reserve female champion at Stirling in October 2021, and selling for 5,000gns.

Glebefarm Porterhouse is an eye-catching Myostatin free Beef Shorthorn bull got by ET from a mating of Canadian Grand Champion bull and globally renowned sire HC Free Spirit 6Y and the sale-topping heifer Uppermill Rothes Jet from the Uppermill production sale in 2015.
Porterhouse oozes style in a modern frame, the combination of a fantastic Canadian beef line and the maternal strength of the Uppermill Rothes cow family. Depth of breeding on both sides of Porterhouse.

Lisnamanny Piers is a twenty-two month-old exceptionally well-balanced bull that has always caught the eye.
Sired by well known Fearn Wyvis who is in the top tier of bulls within the breed to produce both herd sires and productive maternal cows.
Dam Belle 1010 was bred in the Ballylinney herd and sired by Priestland Cain out of a Gregors Belle dam line.
